Mr. Mallon is an Associate Director of Segal Marco Advisors’ Alpha Investment Research Group based in New York. Mr. Mallon has five years of investment research experience and is primarily focused on manager research across liquid and illiquid alternative investment strategies, including private equity, private credit, multi-asset class solutions and absolute return strategies. As part of the group’s alternative investment process, he is primarily responsible for sourcing investment ideas, manager due diligence and evaluation, portfolio construction and interfacing with Segal Marco’s consultants and senior management on client-related matters. Mr. Mallon is a member of the Alternatives Research Council (ARC), as well as the Diversity Investing Working Group (DIWG).

Prior to joining Segal Marco Advisors, Mr. Mallon was a Research Associate with the Marco Consulting Group, an institutional investment consulting firm formerly headquartered in Chicago. He was primarily responsible for investment manager due diligence across asset classes, with a primary focus on alternative investment strategies.

Mr. Mallon received a BS in Business with concentrations in Accounting and Finance from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University.
